Great weekend

I officially anounced that this Sat is the best Sat i've ever experienced for this semester. Past Saturdays had been ridden with worry of how to calculate reactions, or how to do discussions that would please the lab demo or find myself in the library scavanging for any useful books.

The morning start off brightly, but the weather is not. Hazy as a matter in fact, so terrible that though the haze itself is not that thick, the smell was overpowering. Even my bath towel left to dry overnight got some funny smell that i had to re-wash again.

Went to uni very early in the morning.................cause today is the first field trip that i am having in my uni. Our destination is UKM's KL campus Anatomy department. Actually, by the time i finished all my house chores, i realized that i was running late and went to uni without any breakfast.

UKM's KL campus was about 30 minutes bus drive away from my campus. However, the campus itself is quite old. I actually expected to experience something better and more modern, but instead, the campus looks more like the usual government's primary or secondary school type without and proper maintainance. In fact, it's so old that my intention to take lots of pic is lost. Anyway, we got briefed and we are sent to our targets.

Firstly, the anatomical museum. Basically its a room filled with parts, both real and fake that signifies our entire body. Since it involves real speciments, we are not allowed to take any pics in order to respect the dead. Really had a fun time browsing through real specimens of body parts since i've never in my life seen it first hand. We are even allowed to touch specimens that are waxed. However, the main attraction in that museum is the preserved baby that was already 8 months old. According to the lab tech there, the baby died during birth.

Then we are brought over to the anatomy labs, where dissections are preservation of bodies take place. As again, i was dissapointed since the facilities resembles structures that are built in the 80's. But still, it was a eye opener since we all never entered to such place before. We are briefed about the facility and how the body was dissected and preserved. At the end, we are able to touch and see for ourself first hand of preserved human, both body parts and whole body.

Overall, it was an eye opener trip. Hope to have more of it, as well as RIP to all the dead ones.

Later, futsal was finally organized. Been 2 months since i've last stepped on the field to kick the ball. But somehow, my team had no guys with goalkeeping experience, so i had to step up for it. I am even so unlucky to have opponents who blasts balls around, causing bruises. Conceded 5 balls, but hey, i saved alot too you know.

And finally at night, MU vs Wigan..............MU won big time this time =P 4-0. Hope i could capped up this wonderful weekend with a beautiful Sunday =)
