Back to uni
Its been a few days since i've reached KL. Weather is not that good as it is also raining almost everyday and sometimes, cats-n-dogs. Nothing much changed and nothing i would assume. Lets begin from where i left off.
On last Friday (13/7), directly on Friday the Thirteen, unlucky or unruly or un-whatever day it was, i received my last sems results. There, while logging into the webpage to view my results, the adrenaline rush, the tension, the sweat and all the usual stuffs you experience during those periods overcame me. Inch by inch the page loaded (hail to the lagging streamyx line that night), i breath in relief, as i had passed all my subjects and more importantly, scored much better than i thought i would be. Nothing is more satisfying to look at the results that does not really reflect what you had done (really, i got to admit that i did not study that much due to certain constrain last sem). Anyway, the celebration begins in earnest =D
On Sat's morning, i begin to thread my steps to the airport, knowing that i had unfinished my FF12 (............i am going to regret this). To my horror, the long queue, the who-knows-how arrangement of counters that only make the whole place congested, and moreover, show the ugliness of certain people that in-order to make haste, they selfishly crash into the line from the sides without even thinking about the people lining way in the back, somemore they have the guts to even grumble at you. Well, i just have to fight fire with fire and do anything i could to prevent such selfish people from gate-crashing from the sides and well, succeeded in frustrating them /gg. No delay this time and finally, able to get on the plane smoothly without any incidence.
On the way back, the weather is terrible with omnious dark clouds outside when we are arriving at the peninsula. The plane goes up and down, much like a roller coaster and thrilled anyone of us inside. As this is AirAsia, the strange sounds emitted from the plane, especially a loud one from one of the engines really gave some of us a fright. Nonetheless, we reached KL safely in one piece.
Then, came the opening of the uni, a new campus, a new life.....................and what better combination to be lost and late for the first class on the first day of uni. The new campus actually looked more like a uni campus compared to the old one and no more do i have to go deep underground for my labs sessions anymore. One ingenious way from the engineers of should i say, the planners is to places all the main lecture theaters underground, which means, no more reception for handphones =_=" The library is large, but still empty, the cafeteria looked more like a uni one, but with less seats and moreoever, i wonder why they placed air-cons when it was open air. Then came the com lab. As promised, they should be more computers for students. Yes, they are, but there are none in the science faculty unlike in other faculty and we had to walk all the way to the library to use the PC. I would upload some of the pics i've taken in the new campus later on.
And for the lateness of updating the blog, its due to the hectic life here. From the first day of class, there are already assignments and works passed out to us. Nothing more better than a hectic first week in uni. So until the next blog, hoped that i would not stressed out so early into the new sem.
One more thing, do visit a photo site of mine where there are pics taken uploaded from time to time into HERE
