Chaotic Monday
Uni starts today again as the short-1-week holiday ( which i am sure it was not a holiday at all ) ended. Yet, this was my first chaotic Monday. Woke up late as my ever trusty hands would always love to press the alarm clock as soon as the first ring came out. Nevertheless, it was already raining quite heavily that time, so i had no choice but to skip my first lecture at 8am.
When i decided to go for a morning shower, somehow, the water supply is out......................had to wait for 30 minutes when it went back and even then, the water was brownish. So i decide not to bath yet and just hurriedly went off.
When my foot stepped onto the uni grounds, my first agenda was to dig for answers for my cellular metabolism report. The lab demo told us to write a 12 pages report while the practical spanned 4 weeks long. How crazy can that be. The worst thing is that she never told us to do a part essential for the determination of the properties of the enzyme, and yet she expects us to know how to obtain the answers. But lucky for me, i've got the answers i need =P
But then, when i looked on the other guys, they were rushing their instrumental assignments. I was wondering why were they sweating hellishly for it SINCE i thought we need to hand it up on Friday. To my shock, everyone told me it's TOMORROW. Its not that i never did it. I've finished it up and all thats left is just some editting. But still, it was a rude awakening.
At the cafeteria while accompanying the gals, a group of student councils wannabe (yes, the student council election kicks off this week) suddenly emerges in the midst of the cafeteria and started promoting themselves. First off, a solo singing performance whom the guy sings like Mat Rempit gas-ing their motorcycles. Then came the duet, which in turn sounds like some mad scientist who ran off from the lab screaming up till the roof of the building. As for the 3rd performance, i did not stick around too long to know what they are up to.
Thus, my day ends up with me sitting in front of my 5-days-never-slept laptop, still doing what i can for this messed-up report.
